How AppsFlyer works
By integrating AppsFlyer SDK into your apps and configuring your media sources in AppsFlyer’s friendly UI, attribution data is automatically collected for your apps.
You can easily enhance your SDK integration to collect user IDs, send custom in-app events with values, deep-link existing users, and much more.
Use the abundant aggregate and raw data collected by AppsFlyer to analyze and optimize your marketing campaigns across all sources and geo-regions.
AppsFlyer also offers advanced tools and APIs, anti-fraud protection, audience segmentation, cost-data integration, and more.
Get more out of AppsFlyer with Segment
When you enable AppsFlyer in Segment you’ll need to bundle the SDK when you build your Segment iOS and Android SDKs. Unchanged, the attribution data still works like it does when you install AppsFlyer directly. However, there’s an extra bonus to using AppsFlyer via Segment: your attribution data gets recorded as a
track event and fanned out to all other integrations and warehouses you’ve turned on with Segment. That means you can see your attribution data in analytics tools, messaging tools, and your data warehouse. Segment will also pass all your existing events and properties from mobile and server through to AppsFlyer automatically so you don’t need to install (or learn) AppsFlyer-specific code hooks.
