How SimpleReach works

SimpleReach is powered by a combination of data collected from your site and its own system to analyze content effectiveness. The two types of data it uses are page views and conversions, so it has a record of both which content visitors have seen and also when content is successful in leading to a conversion. Both of these data sets are collected by installing its Javascript library on your site. The page views are collected automatically, but the conversions must be installed manually using the SimpleReach Javascript API.

Get more out of SimpleReach with Segment

When you enable the SimpleReach integration on your Segment website source, the Javascript library is loaded on your site right away. Your existing Segment events will also be sent through to SimpleReach automatically. The event names and counts will show up in your SimpleReach interface where you can use them as conversions. If there’s important conversion information present, like in an Order Complete event for example, the revenue and order_id will be passed along to SimpleReach in the format it expects. By using Segment to install SimpleReach, there’s no need to learn the SimpleReach API or install any custom code at all!
