How this works:
  • Build a custom audience in Segment Personas that ties together meaningful events (e.g. Product Viewed or Product Added) with topical properties (page URL contains running shoes or brand = Nike).
  • Save that audience with a name that is easy to understand (e.g. runners_who_wear_nike using the example above)
  • Sync your audience to Iterable via Segment Personas
  • Locate your new audience in Iterable and send an email or SMS to audience members who match the custom trait/audience you created

When you use Segment to send your customer data to Iterable you won’t need to write any custom code hooks or ETL to get data into and out of the platform.
