Target users similar to your top customers on Twitter

When you send customer data from Segment to the Twitter Ads Destination, you can build tailored audiences of users who complete key events like Order Completed on Twitter. From there, you can use the Twitter Ads feature to target Twitter handles that are similar to your customers.

How this works:
  1. Connect Segment to Twitter to sending conversion events like Product Viewed, Payment Added, and Order Completed to your Twitter Ads account
  2. Build a Twitter "tailored audience" of users who have completed a key event that signifies they reached a conversion milestone
  3. Create a new Twitter ad campaign from the tailored audience you just created
  4. Select the option in Twitter to expand your audience reach by targeting similar handles, and launch!

How Twitter Ads work with Segment

Segment can load the Twitter Ads script code to record page views as soon as you enable the integration. If you already have Segment events collecting data, you can map Twitter Ads conversion IDs to those event names in your settings to start tracking those events in Twitter Ads.
