Beamer is a client-side integration which needs to be inserted into your site or apps as a JavaScript snippet, or a REST API for iOS and Android. To send customer data and events into Beamer directly, you’ll need to use our script, events and/or our API. Getting your user data out of Beamer and into a data warehouse requires building a batched ETL system for pulling data from Beamer’s APIs, transforming the data and loading it into a warehouse.
Beamer is both an integration and a cloud source for Segment. As an integration, your customer data in Segment can be sent directly into Beamer so that you can send targeted messages based on their role, plan used, behavior, demographics and more. For example, you may want to send a specific notification to admin users that is not visible to other user roles.
