How Rupt Works
On a high level, Rupt uses client & server-side signals to infer if more than one person uses a given account. The signals include but are not limited to the number of unique devices associated with this account, the frequency of access, the IP information, impossible travel signals, and more.
Get more out of Rupt with Segment
Rupt is loaded onto your site via Segment, where it gathers typical signals and associates them with user devices. When Rupt identifies unusual activities, such as account sharing or multi-accounting, these users are promptly flagged and their information is displayed on your Rupt dashboard, accessible at https://dashboard.rupt.dev.
