How Flurry works
Flurry is a bundled SDK that automatically collects information about how people use your app as well as revenue information from in-app purchases. Flurry Analytics is provided as one library that requires 3 lines of code to integrate. In order to do this, you’ll need to bundle the Flurry SDK in with your app and re-submit to the app store. On top of that, if you want to record user traits or custom events, those require custom code hooks to be built as well.
Get more out of Flurry with Segment
When you use Flurry with Segment you’re still required to bundle the SDK, but Segment simplifies that process. When you install Flurry and integrate through your Segment account, you’ll maintain all the same automatic Flurry features. You’ll save significant time, however, with Segment’s elimination of the need for the Flurry custom code setup. Your Segment track and identify data will be passed through to Flurry without any coding or custom data mapping necessary.
