Rokt offers two integration options for clients, namely the Web SDK and the Event API. The Web SDK can be integrated with most tag managers or directly on your page. The Event API requires a server-to-server integration. Both options are drastically simplified by using the Rokt Segment app, which requires little to no developer work to set up the integration.
The user can set up data from any source and send events to their Rokt platform. The conversion attribution destination for advertisers is built as a wrapper to the Rokt Event API. It connects data sources within Segment to the Rokt destination triggered by a conversion event on the advertiser’s conversion page. By integrating with Segment, Rokt can drive more value with increased relevancy and features like Smart Bidding. Additionally, data collection can be expanded to CRMs, CDPs, and native devices integrated with external vendors.
