Get more out of VWO with Segment
VWO Segment is a two-way integration.
By using VWO as a destination in Segment, you have the ability to send customer data to VWO. This allows you to track events as metrics, target visitors, and filter campaign reports in VWO using Segment’s events and attributes. You can receive both events and attributes from Segment directly into the VWO data layer (VWO Data360).
By using VWO as a source in Segment, you can send VWO campaign data to Segment. Whenever a visitor views a variation of an experiment, an event called 'Experiment Viewed' is triggered, containing the experiment and variation IDs as properties. This allows you to send downstream data resulting from the viewed experiments to all other integrations within Segment. You can then use this data downstream to create reports in analytics tools, automate marketing, or perform advanced analysis in warehouses.
