Installing Hawkei on its own is similar to installing segment for the first time. You’ll need to create a plan that includes all the events and user traits to be collected, then use our documentation to locate the language-specific libraries and SDKs you need and install them into your product(s).
You can use Hawkei via Segment’s integration to greatly simplify getting started.Instead of needing to work with our APIs and SDKs, your developer only needs to learn Segment’s API and the following methods: `identify`, `track`, `page`, and `groups`.
Once Segment is installed and piping data through to Hawkei you’ll see all your events available for use in Hawkei. Now you can easily build flows, track users and start receiving real-time alerts when an error occurs.
