How SatisMeter works

SatisMeter provides a Javascript library that you will need to manually install in your site. Every time a logged-in user visits your site you will need to send SatisMeter identifying information about that user via the SatisMeter Javascript library. SatisMeter keeps track of users that have already answered a survey or closed a survey without responding. The survey is shown to people according to advanced targeting settings you choose. When someone fills in the survey, their response appears on your dashboard as well as in any number of integrations you choose to work with, allowing you to automate and streamline customer success.

There are three main advantages to using SatisMeter with Segment. First, Segment will automatically handle installing SatisMeter’s Javascript library automatically for you. Web user identities can be collected and the web-based survey can be shown without needing to alter code on your site. Second, you can collect user identity information through all the Segment server-side libraries and mobile SDKs to power your email-based surveys. And third, when you send user responses back through Segment as track  events, they will be recorded in all your integrations that accept server-to-server events. This enables you to easily do things like power marketing automation based on NPS score, build NPS reports in your analytics tools, or perform advanced NPS analysis in your warehouse.
