When you use Seg via Segment, everything you’re already tracking with Segment gets passed along to Seg, automatically. All user traits being recorded via the identify
method are passed directly to Seg. Your events are also forwarded to Seg, and for Ecommerce events that Seg recognizes, Segment will handle the mapping from the Segment Ecommerce data spec to the format Seg expects. One of the best perks of using Segment is that all the data flows through to Seg without the need to load any additional libraries onto your site. All the data is collected by Segment and sent to Seg directly from the Segment servers, rather than by additional code on your website.
