Setting all this up involves implementing the Unwaffle API and decorating your backend code with calls to send data whenever your users perform actions or view key reports.

Installing Unwaffle with Segment makes it quicker to get up and running. Assuming you're already using Segment for at least one Destination already, adding Unwaffle is as simple as pasting in an API key and activating it as a new Destination. The User ID and events that Segment is currently forwarding to your other Destinations will begin arriving in your Unwaffle dashboard immediately. You may need to add a couple special event types to announce when your users begin trials or convert to paying customers, but doing so should go quickly using the Segment API that you already have implemented.
