How Vero works
Vero is a powerful email tool that is most valuable when all your important customer data is available to build segments from and fire off event-triggered campaigns with. You can send data to Vero through its Javascript API for websites, one of its server-side libraries, or directly to the API. Vero doesn’t offer an Android SDK and its iOS SDK docs point to Segment as a recommended option for implementation.

When you use Segment to connect to Vero, all your customer data from identify and track calls will show up in Vero automatically, and with no additional coding required from you. You can take advantage of the wide range of Segment libraries and mobile SDKs to get data into Vero quickly from all the places your customers interact with your product. Vero can also send email events like delivered, opened, clicked, unsubscribed (and others) back through Segment and on to your other integrations and warehouses. To do this, you just toggle a setting on your Segment dashboard, there’s no custom code or ETL needed.
