How InMoment works

Gather customer feedback. InMoment can gather feedback in your web or mobile app, via email, SMS, link, or via Intercom Messenger. For in-app and mobile surveys, installation is fast and code-free with Segment. Surveys can be customized and triggered to send to specific customer segments based on Segment events and traits--all in the InMoment dashboard, no API call required. For example, send an NPS survey to a new user in Germany. InMoment will deploy email surveys and SMS surveys for you. Or, send email surveys using your email platform of choice or in-app via Intercom Messenger.

Using Segment to install InMoment is painless, and even listed as the “code-free” way to get started with InMoment on its own website. Segment automates the installation of the InMoment Javascript library on your site and the SDK in your mobile app. The mobile SDK will be bundled into the Segment SDK so you can still use in-app surveys. Additionally, your Segment traits are sent to InMoment so you don’t have to worry about tapping into the API yourself.

You can also use InMoment as a source and send survey responses back to Segment so they can be used with other platforms. This means your survey responses will be available for you to use with marketing tools, analytics tools, data warehouses and any other destination that accepts event data.
