Indicative is a behavioral analytics platform that helps marketers and product teams understand customer behavior and optimize engagement with their product or service. It delivers a single view of customer behavior across all digital touchpoints including web, app, marketing automation, support systems, databases, and data warehouses, without using SQL or touching any code. To get that single view, Indicative requires you to send it structured data, either directly from your applications with an API or SDK, or from another structured data source.

To send data to Indicative directly from your applications requires the use of the Indicative API, which is facilitated by the available platform-based SDKs they provide. Implementation of these collection methods requires manual additions to your code. You’ll need to become familiar with the Indicative API methods in the SDK that you choose, and take care to implement them methodically for each of the events you want to track on your website.
