How Indicative works

Indicative is a behavioral and customer analytics platform that helps marketers, product teams, and analysts understand the full customer journey and optimize customer conversion, engagement, and retention. It delivers a single view of customer behavior across all digital touchpoints including web, app, marketing automation, support systems, databases, and data warehouses with a drag and drop user face, and enables complex data analysis without using SQL or code. All of Indicative’s free and paid plans include 1 billion events / user actions per month. To get that single view, Indicative requires you to integrate structured data, either directly from your applications with an API or SDK, or from another structured data source.

In order to send data directly to Indicative from your applications, you will need to use an Indicative API method, which is facilitated by platform-based SDKs they provide. Implementation of these collection methods does require manual additions to your code. You’ll need to become familiar with the Indicative API methods in the SDK that you choose, in order to methodically implement each of the events you want to track.
