How MouseStats works
MouseStats offers a set of simple to use customer customer experience features. Everything you’d expect works as soon as you load the MouseStats script onto your site: session recordings, heat maps, form analytics, and “micro surveys” to ask visitors for additional information about their experience. The micro survey feature can be used for free.
Get more out of MouseStats with Segment
As soon as you add your credentials and enable MouseStats in your Segment website source, the script gets added everywhere on your site with no additional work required from you. If you’re using the Segment identify method to identify logged in users, the user ID and any custom traits will be passed through to MouseStats automatically. Some other customer experience tools accept all Segment event data, but MouseStats only accepts the Segment user ID and user traits that were set using the identify method during each session.
